“Vermont in the summer is verdant and bucolic. Green is everywhere and capacious landscapes meet the “green mountains” for which it is known. There are fresh lakes everywhere – you’ll find families jumping into at random and lots of rope swings. The sun sets later and the air turns always a bit crisp no matter how hot the day was. Then autumn comes…and even if it’s rained out, after a few weeks the colors are magnificent. Deep garnets and bright yellows and every shade of brown and auburn and orange in between. Small windy roads, deep forests and mall roadside farmhouses selling Maple syrup.”
