“The whole state is very diverse – the southern parts of the state are purely red rock. We have national parks with arches formed by thousands of years worth of wind. Depending on the time of year, the Wasatch mountains can be covered in snow, brilliantly green, or a deep purple – sometimes all three when the snow is still at the top. In the fall, however, they are gold, orange, red, and yellow. We have every season here, in extremes. The Valley itself is mostly surrounded by mountains, but you can still see our lake, the great salt lake, in the distance.”
