“Scents such as fresh bagels and carnival foods remind me of New Jersey. The north is high rises and adjacent to NYC. Lots of Ritz and money and the smell of chemicals because the factories that make skittles and chocolate and favors for food are all located up north. Toward the south you have big money at the shore/coast. With mega mansions on the water. Salt water, fishing off the bridges, pizza everywhere, body surfing on the waves, sunsets over the bay and sunrises over the ocean. Salty air. Bare feet, sand, suntans, cold drinks and bay breezes. There’s always a farm stand on the side of the road with fresh tomatoes and corn in the summer.”
