“Single track roads winding through vast rugged grassy lowlands. The jagged silhouettes of the Cuillin mountains dominate when you first arrive on the island. Colourful cottages in Portree sit on the waterfront reflecting into the harbour. Crystal clear pools of blue with little waterfalls make up the fairy pools. The quiraing is the most breathtaking thing I’ve ever seen. At golden hour it felt like a dream, almost like a series of green waves heading towards the sea.
Isle of Skye is rugged and beautiful with lots of waterfalls and interesting hill shapes!”
