Arkansas

£60.00

An original painting from the 81 Wild collection.

The landscape changes a lot. There are evergreens in most areas, and big lakes that are super full after the spring, but really low at summer. The state is famous for diamond mines. Hope is famous for giant watermelons. Alligator gars are the thing of my nightmares, but we used to love seeing them in the lake or in mobile aquariums. When it rains, it pours; I used to send barbies down the street in a Tupperware bowl like it was a boat. The fall is everyone’s favorite because the trees in the Ozark mountains and all over Fayetteville light up like a beacon from neon red to yellow to orange. It makes my heart ache just thinking of it.
