“People from Gloucestershire normally underestimate the beauty of Forest of Dean. Through every season it’s just as exciting. Winding roads, overcast with trees. In springtime, the bluebells flourish, a violet sheet across the meadows, in summer the sun casts rays through the thick woodlands. If you’re lucky you’ll spot a deer tucked away in the brush, blending in with its surroundings. In autumn the leaves fall, the walks get muddy, but the never ending autumnal colours bring such joy to me. In winter, even though the trees are bare, it’s the most beautiful sight when the fog settles in, looming low in the woodlands. It’s eerie but a beautiful sight to see.
Cycling through the forest, blinded by the sun rays shooting through the trees.”
